Mango lady!! I LOVE fresh mangoes. 

Went on a mission trip to San Antonio with the 20somethings. This was at a mexican restaurant in town. So festive! 

I have the coolest mom ever. Be jealous. 

It's been HOT. So we got a pool. each. It was delightfully refreshing. 

April and May Happenings

My EGA kids are soo creative. We made statues of people with pictures, and this is what this kid came up with as a statue of himself:

In honor of Alesia's birth, the 20something girls went rock climbing at Dyno-Rock!

So, since i was ridiculously sore from climbing, what else would i do the next morning but get up at 5:30am to go run a 5K? This was the zoo run in fw.... a-mazing. :)

My apologies... this is no longer a 365 blog... it is a "post when Carrie remembers to take pictures" blog, which is updated sporadically.

I went to Kathy's wedding. It was beautiful!!

I hand-washed clothes and hung them up to dry. For some strange reason, i found it exciting.

A Few January and February Pics

Look! Snowflakes really look like snowflakes!

This fountain was a little frozen... the ice was so thick that i was able to walk on it!

Icicles are so cool! and cold.

On the day we actually had snow, we went sledding. A nice guy at home depot gave us free sleds, AKA old pieces of flooring. They worked perfectly!

We got around 5" of snow....

Emily and I went out to Sundance Square to see all the to-do with the superbowl. They had this cool coca-cola 18-wheeler that turned into a restaurant. "Step up and be impressed!" they said. But, they were out of free samples, so i wasn't all that impressed.

We had our first class for EG Academy! We made valentines in the crafts class. The kids were PRECIOUS! I am so excited about the semester.

The 20somethings and i handed out flyers for my fundraiser in two weeks. I LOVE my Sunday school class. Some of the girls got together and decorated aprons to wear and help advertise. They are amazing. :)

I decided to get dreadlocks. But by dreadlocks, i really mean more like a wig.

Parker Knutson was born on February 2! He says "YIPPEE!!!"

It has been FREEZING cold, so we have been putting the space heater and our electric blanket to good use.

We hung icicles on our new, live tree out front.

Hot tea, electric fire place, fuzzy shoes. I am soooo ready for summer.

i made spinach puffs! they were delicious!

Hobbes and Juliet were almost cuddling! perhaps they are becoming friends, after all. Or perhaps they are just really cold.
